Our cowherd is the proving grounds behind the bulls we use and sell. Very simply, this is as much of a hands-off environment as we can replicate. Cows are expected to calve, nurse and rear a marketable calf, rebreed quickly every year without misstep or human intervention. Perfectly sound in their udder and feet, athletic and productive-that’s all we ask. We are fully subscribed to the belief that cows, if allowed and selected for, can be largely self sufficient. We’ve found that cows raised with these expectations, produce progeny that are better adapted and more resilient in most any environment.
